Terms of Service
Terms for using RehearsalReady
These Terms govern your use of RehearsalReady’s website, scanner, guide editor, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. Who may use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority where you live, and able to enter into these Terms. If you use RehearsalReady for a school or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it. Accounts are for directors and authorized personnel, not students under 13.
2. What RehearsalReady provides
RehearsalReady processes uploaded concert-music PDFs and director-provided information to create editable instructional guides. The Service may include OCR, optical music recognition, notation editing, recording search, guide generation, printing, and project storage. Features may change as the Service improves.
3. Accounts
Provide accurate information, protect access to your Google account, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for ensuring that only authorized people access your projects.
4. Your music and other content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant RehearsalReady a limited, nonexclusive license to host, copy, process, transform, display, and back up that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and recover the Service.
You are responsible for having all rights and permissions needed to upload, process, reproduce, distribute, and use the music, recordings, images, and other content you submit. RehearsalReady does not grant music copyright, copying, arranging, public-performance, synchronization, or educational-use permissions. Follow applicable copyright law, license terms, publisher restrictions, and school policies.
5. Review generated results
OCR and music-recognition results can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing titles, composers, instrumentation, page boundaries, notes, rhythms, ranges, terms, and generated guides before distributing or relying on them. RehearsalReady is a preparation aid, not an authoritative edition of the score.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to violate law or another person’s rights; upload malicious code; attempt unauthorized access; evade usage limits; disrupt the scanner or queue; scrape or reverse engineer protected parts of the Service except where law permits; impersonate another person; or use the Service to store unrelated or unlawful material.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Paid features, prices, billing periods, and usage limits are shown at purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe. Recurring subscriptions continue until canceled. You may manage available billing options through the Service or contact support@rehearsalready.com. Except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase, paid charges are not automatically refundable.
8. Third-party services
The Service uses providers such as Google, YouTube, Flat, Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, and Render. Their services may be governed by separate terms and policies. RehearsalReady is not responsible for third-party content, availability, or actions. YouTube features are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how information is handled, including active PDF retention, disaster-recovery backups, and optional scanner-improvement data.
10. Availability and beta features
We work to keep the Service available, but do not promise uninterrupted operation, a particular processing time, or permanent availability of any feature. Scans can be queued, delayed, restarted, or fail. Beta or experimental features may change or be withdrawn.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion through support. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the Service, respond to legal requirements, address nonpayment, or enforce these Terms. Sections that by their nature should continue—including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, and liability limits—survive termination.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” RehearsalReady disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, and accuracy. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that law does not allow us to exclude.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RehearsalReady will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, revenues, or opportunities arising from the Service. RehearsalReady’s total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. The date above identifies the current version. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to support@rehearsalready.com.
